WOMEN'S PROBLEMS APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTER

OBJECTIVES

 • To organize national and international panels, courses, seminars, conferences, congresses, symposiums, and similar activities on women's issues, based on the rights gained by Atatürk's principles and revolutions and the fact that women are members of modern society,

• To carry out scientific and applied research, analysis, and projects on women's issues in the country and abroad, and to participate in and support such studies,

• To search for opportunities to protect, expand and develop women's rights in accordance with modern human rights principles, and to provide nationwide education in this field,

• To carry out educational activities that encourage lectures and seminars on women's issues at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels in universities, to support those who work in this field,

• To support the education and training activities of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students on the subjects that are suitable for the purpose of the Center, to enable applied studies that will contribute to the solution of social problems,

• Creating programs to inform women about their rights and opportunities in every field,

• To open special education programs and seminars for women and girls who cannot participate effectively in national development,

• To broadcast using visual and written information technologies in line with the Center's Objectives,

• To create a library and archive in order to monitor developments and publications on women's issues,

• To establish a communication network with national and international organizations working on women's issues,

• Contributing to the work of all institutions and organizations related to women's issues, conducting studies and research in line with their needs and demands, preparing projects, providing consultancy services and data,

• Announcing women's issues to large masses, increasing social awareness, and contributing to the formation of public opinion in this field,

• To ensure compliance with ethical principles during the research to be carried out within the center on women's issues,

• To organize seminars, applied courses, and public education seminars to increase the knowledge and skill levels of the people and their employees on family planning issues of women's health, and to train secondary and higher education students on these issues,

• To analyze women's issues at the universal and local level academically and scientifically, to conduct research,

• To produce rational solutions for the protection, dissemination, and development of women's rights in accordance with modern human rights principles,

• To contribute to the development of the country by presenting the current problems on women with solutions and ensuring their implementation,

• To ensure that academic studies on women's issues are spread to a wider base within our university and to increase cooperation between different academic disciplines and academicians working there,

• Training and advocating gender equality issues in every profession in which women are employed in the private and public spheres, and ensuring that these are effectively included in the field of practice,

• To carry out in-service practical training in the workplace in cooperation with professional organizations,

• To prepare applied courses and certificate programs that provide employment for women who could not find employment.
